This is yet another example showing we are bringing good youngsters through. Unfortunately, all our best youngsters are currently getting poached.

Still, it's very unfair to criticise some of the academy scouts/coaching staff when we have had Man City and Man Utd poaching some of our best youngsters within the past 12 months.

There is nothing Darren Purse, Gavin Chesterfield etc can do about that, so they're left with working with the youngsters they have left.

No cannot just take a player from another cat 1 academy like man c done..... but you can sign a youngster from one if it is done for benefit of youngster education and well being but its very strict criteria...

It's happening to Ipswich now they've got a wonder kid " silva mexex" who man u look like signing! but as attracted interest from every cat 1 academy in premier league who want him.....

Not unless there was a reason that outways him staying at city......like said there are very strict criteria and it doesn't happen that much no matter who the team is... a youngster wanting to join man c because they are big club is not enough reason for him to go there ... like said clubs been done man c real Madrid included for taking youngsters illegally ..... this is why cat 1 is essential but it is expensive 3m+ a season to run? Luckily city now have the facility to make it work successfully if done right.

Even cat 1 status you not safe leeds lost player to man c! Seems like man c and others are boasting of playing academy players when in fact they are stealing other clubs talent as their own .....

Chelsea could fall faul of ffp unless they can offload few of their academy players and Chelsea have plenty.... what must remember most of these kids never get to 1st team but can demand fees of 15m+ in the overinflated premier league...
