That doesn’t make sense. Unless I misunderstanding, if so apologies. Why does Swansea v Bristol have any impact on who our biggest rivals are out of the 2?

Had it though? We’ve always been competing with Bristol, don’t think the same can be said for Swansea.
Like I say, I always saw Bristol as the rivals until recent years.

Ned to me the rivalry bit comes from their stay in premier league...a lot was made of fact they were there for years and city fans had more interaction on forums and social media with them than previously did... sb cannot be a supporter from the 70s 80s or 90s when it was always city bristol swans was glint in fans eyes upuntil premier league.
Ps can add Bristol rovers to rivalry

The size of crowd bristol fans didn't turn up for swans but did for us! Point is their fans see us as rivals was just saying..

Allan, I’m only 31 but always seen Bristol as our biggest rivals.
Remember when Swansea came up and wasn’t that bothered.
That said…. Was in the stadiums when Bellamy and Tanner scored so celebrated them a lot

We've had this conversation many times and really depends on your age as said only remember once going to Swansea in 70s/80s went to most bristol ciry /rovers games even midweek... bristol obviously not bothered about swans as was seen on Sunday with crowd...

Bristol don’t really care about the jacks, but they hate us.
More difficult is who we have our biggest rivalry with. I still say it’s Bristol because of the history.

Since I’ve been watching us, I always thought it was Bristol.
But in recent years, the Swansea rivalry has got bigger.
