WOW / PURE BULL SHIT: club announcement imminent

Thu Mar 07, 2024 10:20 am

UPDATED:

Wow a total wind up by Glen Williams / unbelievable he is desperate.

All he has done is put out what the BBC did yesterday:

On a more positive note, with the debt still there , the club look set to finally deliver on their promise of a new training ground. At the moment, the facility is shared by the FAW and it has long been an ambition for the club to break away from that site and have their own place.

After the opening of the fantastic new academy facility in Llanrumney paid for by Cardiff City Council and Cardiff University , the club are now closing in on a deal to start work on their own first-team facility, with Dalman confirming an agreement is imminent and at an "advanced stage". The club hope to use the facility in 2026.

If this is referring to today's WOL rehash of yesterday's BBC story, then the "imminent major club announcement" is just the signing of a 150 year lease on the new training ground.

Just a predictably cheap way of getting folk to click onto a story and misleading as it implies something really big is going to be disclosed. WOL rarely produce anything decent on Cardiff considering we are their capital club. We have people on here who write more interesting stuff and WOL also never seem to get any in depth interviews or ever have any original insight despite them having just one job to do.

So nothing to do with ccfc? So why are they using ccfc name in all their house of sports centres think there's 5 as well as the llanrumney centre.... I know Borley was or is a city director presume that's the reason use ccfc ?
