welsh boxer andrew selby came into arena wearing a city top and then went on to beat his english opponent.close but a worthy winner.

my mate from Penarth is out there... boxing... won his first fight, fighting again on Friday afternoon.. Kieran Harding.. used to play for the city in his youth!

I'm out here coaching on the English swim team, plus david Davies on the Welsh swim team and are arranging
a cardiff city tops day on Saturday with the boxers. Come on the city, from all us out in the Commonwealth games with the shits and sickness bug!!!
Stephanie Millward - English swimmer lives and trains in swansea with me did the ayatollah tonight when she won Silver in the 100 free and David Davies goes in the 1500 free on Saturday, so another ayatollah on the way and then, hopefully, Steph will get banother medal in the 100 butterfly also on Saturday!
