TODAYS CCFC TEAM NEWS AS TWO MAKE HOME DEBUTS

Sat Feb 10, 2024 2:00 pm

Mark McGuinness, who was an injury doubt for this one, makes way for Nat Phillips, who is handed his full Bluebirds debut after coming off the bench at Vicarage Road a week ago.

The other change is David Turnbull coming in for his first start in place of Rubin Colwill. Harsh, perhaps, given how well Colwill has played in recent months, but Turnbull has also been brought in to play, so Erol Bulut has had to make tough calls.

Joe Ralls returns to the bench after his injury struggles, while Ethan Horvath is also named among the substitutes after his visa came through.

Surprised that Colwill has been dropped but good to see Phillips and Turnbull start.

Good options from the bench.

Nice to see Turnbull starting, but very harsh to drop Rubin after his performance last week.

Will be interesting to see how we do defensively too with Phillips coming in.

Strange to drop Ruben surely if you play well you keep your place. Strong bench

Usual defensive midfield line up. Let's see what happens. Why not be ambitious and play Ruben and Turnbull together - drop Wintle or Siopis to bench
