Breaking Erol Bulut: “ We have to invest “

Erol Bulut:


"We have to continue to work, we have to invest to bring in quality players and bring young players through the academy to make a really good structure.”

“For that to work, we need a plan. To make a plan work, we need to work together. My contract ends at the end of the season. We’ve not had any talks yet, I have not heard anything . It’s not up to me.”



Rubin Colwill is one of City's form players at the moment and the Bluebirds look far better with him on the pitch, but his numbers need to start tracking in the right direction, too. That area of the pitch needs help and Bulut has just said as much.

“I would like to tell [the fans something positive right now] but right now I cannot because I don’t know how the transfer window will go for us," he said after the Leeds game.

The only positive for Erol is that we are practically safe from relegation.

However, everything else over the last few months is sackable material. I can imagine Tan is reluctant to talk about an extension.

When I watched the pre match interview on Saturday on Cardiff city tv. Erol’s main frustrations were due to his team gifting Leeds a result with two stupid mistakes. I didn’t get the feeling that he was directing any of his words towards the board. I think we’ll be able to take a lot more from his comments on Thursday regarding transfers.

Where have I said it’s not true or have you just got an agenda here for no reason? My point is that this was news on Saturday evening, but for some reason Glen Williams is putting it out on Tuesday.

I am thinking Bulut will go same way as Lamouchi, which will be a disaster
Part of me agrees we should wait until the transfer window closes though
I am not optimistic

Still almost 2 weeks left of the window so I'll remain optimistic that we can improve the squad, reading what EB has said is a bit worrying though to be honest
