So much for Dalman!!!

Sat Jan 13, 2024 7:04 pm

He was going to take control

We were going to go for it

He was going to personally sort this

Annis - He is in London from Monaco personally handling the transfers......

And....

Manager says we have no cash...

Dalman wasn't even at today's game!!!! Or at least not in directors box

Apparently he’s not happy with the board as well, even though he didn’t say that either. #agenda

Ok not that exact wording but I translated the "we have financial issues and silence from the board to mean" we have no cash.

Also see you haven't mentioned my other points as in, where was Dalman today!!!!!

So angry atm

As above really. Bulut has not said we have no cash so that's just your interpretation.

It's quite sad that so many on here just can't wait for a negative result or situation to start caning players, manager, Board, owner...

Late week, there was pretty much a concensus the club were exceeding expectation for a rag bag bunch of freebies; but a week later and one result against the best team in our League and the same people are all on the negative bandwagon...

It's pathetic and some of you need to get a grip on reality, i.e. we are a club in recovery and rebuild under Erol Bulut...

Shame we didnt ALL have your positivity in how things are going at the club at this current time.

If your happy with everything ongoing then that's your choice which your entitled to.

As fans we are all entitled to an opinion, most won't agree with everyone but it doesn't stop each and every individual having their own opinions.

I'm really worried at the moment we are a complete shambles on the pitch, the players ain't up to much and also in my opinion the manager is not up to much either.

Will Tan back him, I don't know but I'd be a bit reluctant to let him spend a fortune too as he doesn't fill me with confidence either.

Only time will tell I suppose :?:

Hate to say it. But I'm with Sven on this.

Would be great to start signing million pound players. But for what?! To still finish mid table.

I don't have the fear we're going down. Back Bulut in the Summer. We need consistency now.

As for yesterday, did anyone expect us to win in reality? Leeds are decent. We are not.

Kind of agree but would be nice to get 6th spot tho

Still 3 pts off playoffs!!
Would I spend £2m on KM... No.
We all see we need a striker but they must have more targets than just the Turkish lad OR is it more BS from Dalman? Who allegedly is running the show, Think Mr Tan has been bitten too many times to just splash the cash,eg. Acorn,Murphy & Madine to name just a few, shame really as I think we have a manager who could take us there after a few windows and himself getting used to Championship football.

I pay my hard earned money to watch Cardiff. Yesterday was a disgrace!!! That kind of performance wouldn't have happened on Malky or Warnock's watch. I think telling people to get a grip is a little extreme though, because most on here who have called out Bulut and the players for that spineless display aren't wrong. Cardiff didn't even lay a glove on Leeds who have been off form over the last 6 games. A more passionate display and getting stuck in and the result would have been a more positive one.

If you're happy with the last 10-12 games then I think it's you that needs a reality check. It's very easy to throw around the rebuild time and time again, it just papers over the huge holes in the club.

Opinions are like arseholes, and everyone has one. Mine is that I don't want Bulut and his negativity around next season. Much better and cheaper managers are out there. :old:

Chris, personally I think the feeling was that we had lost before we took the field.
Some players might be freebies and loans but c'mon show some pride in your job, is the managers contract or lack if affecting things? No.
Is there an unsettling issue in the dressing room? I think so.
There is always this backlash after a loss and people want signings to improve us but January is risky.
Still don't understand why he fetched that GK here mind ???

Didn't mention the result...

We were beaten soundly by a team who brought 30m+ off the bench to have a kick around for the last five minutes.

The post was around the positivity coming from the club, raising expectations and then the change in 24hrs from players incoming to no they're not and the manager obviously pissed with the situation, especially his reaction to losing our on the Turkish Striker.

FFP issues are not a surprise in 24hrs, these have been known about for months, they are either not telling us everything or financially inept. Why else raise expectations and then kill it through the manager.

What as actually changed? Manager says something that as been taken totally out of context..... no signings well nothing wrong in that fact as we all know it takes time and things don't happen like they should got 17 days to do so...the player mentioned could have chosen Turkey as wanted to stay in that country... where as it been said we are not going to sighn anyone or have "NO" money ? People getting in a frenzy over opinions that may or may not come/be true! Think it's a bit premature jumping of the ship before it as hole in it.... 3 points off playoffs best players coming back and hopefully new players to bolster squad could be worse. :o

Jules, I love debates like this and so far everyone has managed to get their (some very good) point across without the usual theatrics...!

I couldn't agree more that there seems to be something unsettling the players in the dressing room; but is that down to Bulut or other restless natives...?

Hate to say it but I've heard Robinson is a difficukt character when not the centre of attentiin, so has he clashed (again) with his manager...?

Who knows...? But there was, for the second home game, an inevitability about the Leeds result and sime vety poor on field decision making...

As for the goal keeper? I'm not too sure it was his decision... ;)

Not really positivity just a more pragmatic view of things... but really nothings changed lost to top 6 team again!! same unfathomable way of playing towards own goal instead of towards opposition? Slower than a carthorse when going forward but with same team that is only 3 points off playoffs ..... doesn't matter if lose to all top 6 teams as long as we pickup points elsewhere which we have done with mixed performances... window still got 17 days left and only one game left before then so before accusing people of various things that as not happened yet So Let's wait and see what happens then we can all make an informed opinion based on facts not peoples perception of the facts.

A one sided defeat to a team most of us dislike, is bound to bring about emotional responses
This really could go either way with the board
We need stability and personally i was very disappointed that Sabri Lamouchi wasnt backed
If Bulut leaves, we start all over again with players like Ralls, Wintle, Collins, Etete , Robinson and others who have proven over a couple of seasons , they are not good enough

I think for most the expectations were mid table but after a decent start it’s now play offs.
It might not be realistic and personally I think mid table would be fine however we do have a capable squad on paper and it seemed like we’d have 4 or 5 through the door by now.
Seems to me that we’ll do some business late on as we are shifting the deadwood.

Patience needed - see how next season goes , we will not go down.
