Is Bulut out of his depth?

Sat Jan 13, 2024 6:38 pm

The manager showed Leeds too much respect with his inept tactics and defensive starting eleven AGAIN today. Yet he's on Radio Wales blaming his players for showing Leeds too much respect!

How can you play Wintle at right back last Saturday and as a ten today, with Colwell getting splinters on the bench. He was like a fish out of water

Some are waking up and smelling the Bulut coffee at last....

It it were me, I 'd be on the phone to Steve Cooper tonight :bluescarf:

"Hi Steve forget about the premier league, come to city with no money and a crowd who know that, but want champagne football and fight. Lose a few games and they'll want your head...."

"Yes Mehmet, I'll get the Mrs to stop spending the outrageous compo and head on down there now, you know what, i'll stay with my dad "

Spot on mate. I've been saying for the last 8 games or so that Bulut is not the manager most on here think he is.

:laughing6: Exactly this, I had a look on transfrmarket earlier and looked at the transfer fees they paid for their starting line up today. It’s absolutely ridiculous the difference, whereas our squad was all freebies/academy or loans.

No one is denying Leeds have a multi million pound quality squad compared to our loans and free transfers.

However, I don't think Bulut is making the most of what we have got. We barely laid a glove on Leeds - as a minimum standard at home, we need to be fighting for the bloody shirt, earning your wages, closing down their players and not letting them settle. Have a right go FFS! We're talking about professional pride here.
I didn't see all of that on display yesterday and I feel we are being hamstrung by Buluts passive, negative tactics and formations.
