Cardiff City linked with loan swoop for rising Aston Villa starlet

The Bluebirds are among three Championship clubs said to be interested in his signature

Cardiff City are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Lamare Bogarde on loan.

It is understood that Erol Bulut wants to improve the midfield options he has available to him and would ideally like to bolster in that department this month if the budget allows. 

And Football Insider claim that Cardiff, along with Championship rivals Southampton and Watford, are keen to take Bogarde, 20, on loan for the rest of the campaign. Aberdeen have also been credited with interest.

Hope your right Sven, it appears he didn’t make many appearances over last 5/6 weeks but obviously that could be for any number of different reasons

The last player we had on loan from Villa did more than well for us so fingers crossed

A bit of a strange one if you check out the Gas fans forum. In the 12 games he played for them his performance average as voted by the fans was a mere 4.8. A surprise therefore that a club of Southampton's stature is interested in him.

I said the same about Leicester since we beat them in that famous Play-off game and maintain they might have been us (maybe minus the Premier League title)
