7 points out of 12

Pretty decent return from the four fixtures over Christmas and the New Year.

Won the two games we would have been targeting as very winnable.

Lost the game that we probably all thought we'd get nothing from.

And a home point against a decent team which could have gone either way.

Think most of us would have taken those results and points total if offered?

Pleased with that.

Christmas period is always difficult with so many games.

Now we have nearly a two week break from league action. I expect us to play a weaker team in the cup so that first team players can get a well needed rest.

Yes, indeed; although I lament the missed opoortunity v Plymouth on Boxing Day, which would have put us a point behind 6th placed Sunderland and in 7th place... :ayatollah:

Happy with 7 pts from 12 as 3 lost was against the league leaders - But we gave up 2 more pts at home to Plymouth .

Having said that more worried/shocked at the 3pts lost to Birmingham a few games before

We are still there and the Jan transfer window - Could prove to be one of our best in recent years ;)

it is good, however, i genuinely think we should never have lost to birmingham, and should of beaten them, the form they were on, and Plymouth, hadn't won away, and they looked alot better than us
