Working hard does not mean a thing. Collins has been very poor for a while now, and he's our only left sided wing back. Kind of reminds me of Mark Harris, good high work-rate but not Championship standard. Time for Panzo to get a run in the team.

As I said in another post, JC just doesn’t fit the system Bulut is trying to implement. That’s the major issue.

However, tonight, and for several weeks he has been absolutely ripped apart by bang average wingers. That doesn’t excuse him being ripped apart for several weeks, and it’s clearly being targeted by several managers.

The odowda injury was unfortunate , I’m sure they’d have been rotated until Collins was 100% fit.
He’s played a lot of games after a long term injury.

Collins will come good, there’s a player in there, he’s low on confidence.

Said it before will say it again, Collins has come back from an ACL and been chucked in as our only left back with pretty much 0 rotation or rest. Of course his form has dropped off a cliff he’s probably absolutely knackered.

Feel sorry for him on a personal level that he’s not been afforded the rest he probably needed as it’s cost him his AFCON place.

He is currently our preferred wing-back but I agreed elsewhere today that Panzo has to be worth a look there. For me, way to good not to be in the team but for the form of McGuiness and Goutas...
