Coventry made a lot of money in the summer by selling Gyokeres and Hamer.

I expected West Brom to be down there, they have serious money problems and have to be promoted this season or they’re in big trouble.

We haven’t had any assets to sell for a while which is why we’re down there. We also had to pay the rest of the instalments for Sala, with the court cases to try and get some of that back pending.

It's not just about new players as we see clubs sold to buy new players but! Relegated teams are now keeping bulk of their squads and enhancing it by selling high profit players to strengthen squad with very good players this trend started about 3 yrs ago since then Relegated teams are taking up 3 or 4 of top six places so squeezing out more championship clubs .... parachute payments are now significantly altering the championship hyarchy only need look at who's been promoted last 3 seasons to see this.

We did make a whopping £330k on player sales I presume that was Allsop?
