They tried but the gap in class and ability was massive.
Leicester had one player team valued at £10m in Harry Winks which is about twice the value of our entire squad.
Our record against the current top 6 is not great :-
Played 7
Won 0
Drawn 1
Lost 6
Goals for 5
Goals against 11
Shows what we're up against.
We're a mid table Championship team and I'm guessing most of us would have accepted that after the last few seasons.

Completely agree.
We’ve been spoilt a bit, because they had a fantastic start to the season. But, unfortunately not enough depth and just out of gas.
If the recruitment is done right in January though, I don’t see why we can’t finish in top 6.

I agree...!
Leicester toyed with us for most of the game but our heads didn't drop and there were loads of positives for players and manager alike...
Jak Alnwick produced at least two superb saves and was only beaten by a 'worldy' after having no chance with their first goal (Gotas error more than a Ralls one)
I agree we are a mid-table side currently; but let's see what January brings and a Play-off is not unthinkable in this open and mad league...

I think we should forget about the play-offs, try to integrate the proposed new signings, improve performance and look for more consistency. Then see where that takes us.
