Birmingham had lost their last 8 Consecutive away games.
And had never won at CCS before after 10 attempts.



This for me was our 7th game in a row where the football was quite dire and no excitement, the stands looking quite empty and No atmosphere.
The matches have been lacking quality.

Citys 3rd home defeat from their last 4 home games, and against an awful Birmingham City side.


Cardiff lacked ideas and showed no real threat.



Rubin Colwill and Striker Etete started for the Bluebirds.


Why the hell does Bulut prefer Runarsson over Alnwick, unbelievable??


Wayne Rooney’s team came to Cardiff with only one win from his last nine games, with Rooney struggling big time and their fans on his back.

To add to his woes Rooney had at least 7 first team players out injured.





FIRST-HALF: NG went off with a head injury after 14mins, replaced by Romeo.

Brum we’re looking the better side going forward for the first 20mins.
Then on the 20th min Goutas' header was denied by a full-stretch Ruddy save.

Cardiff then had a great period and attacked non stop for the next 15mins.
Goutas was everywhere.

But over all the first-half once again was nothing really to get excited about and the City fans were very subdued.

Then in the 47th min of the first -half Goal! Birmingham broke through, Dembele and found Bacuna with his cross. He rounds Runarsson and it's in. 0-1, Runarsson was just left standing there.

Cardiff though had just edged this half.







SECOND-HALF: 58th min: Etete replaced by Robinson
Wintle replaced by Bowler.
Etete had done nothing.

Match continued to be stale.

75th min: Double Sub:
Grant replaced by Tanner
Meite replaced by Ugbo

The match never got exciting.

Well I hope no one has the cheek to put a MoM up tonight as not one player deserved to wear that shirt tonight. Utter disgrace.

Shocking result and performance a few of these loan players need to go.

One up top the whole game. Embarrassing tonight that's the bottom line. Nothing was changed the whole game either shape wise It wasn't even Sunday league park football in my eyes it was that painful to watch

It felt like last season tonight. Shameful performance. The number of misplaced passes especially was dreadful. It's been coming for weeks though. We've simply gone completely off the boil and will now slide down the table. Thankfully we have 30 points so another relegation fight should be avoided. Those who turn on Bulut tonight are foolish though. Yes criticism is deserved for tonight but he is a good manager and we need to be patient that he can deliver in the longer term. Top 6 is way beyond us this year even with reinforcements.

A brave post but understandable. He made the changes but those that came on did nothing. That's all he can do but the players did nothing. Tonight they have made us the embarrassment of the Championship.

I hope the penny has dropped but we need to get rid of this rubbish that Morison left us.

Is there some obligation to play Rúnarsson a certain amount of games in the loan deal from Arsenal?
Can't see any other reason to pick him ahead of Alnwick.
He was like an outfield player for the Brum goal

The goalkeeper is a total clown has been since his 1st game. What was he doing for there goal ffs stood there still watching then started waving his f*cking arms around like he was in a JLS concert as iif he done nothing wrong

What an absolute pathetic performance yet again against a team who hadn't won away since god knows when. How the hell could you play Miete on the wing when you have two wingers in the bench. Grant was shit again , people say oh he defends well FFS he is supposed to be going the other way . What's happened to Siopis? Robinson is given nothing off the bench and we are too negative backwards and sideways .

We need more than that like ditching some of these players from last season. I would put Colwill and Robinson at the top of the list.

Controversial but Bulut is tactically inept for me. No plan B, doesn’t seem to have a plan A

Erol Bulut your honeymoon period is well and truly over - that was a very poor display against a team struggling for form and injuries! The football you are producing week in week out, is very boring and on the whole, dismal. You need good players to play out of defence like we are trying to play, and apart from NG, we do not! Yes, Goutas and McGuiness are good defenders, but they are not quick enough to play the game you want to play. It is not fair on them, and Collins is so one footed, he invariably gets caught out trying to control a ball with his right foot.
Etete put himself about tonight and was the first to be substituted when Grant was having a mare. To bring Robinson on was a real kick in the teeth for him. Bowler has lost complete confidence and cannot keep control of the ball. Meite, like Etete was doing a lot of good work and he was also substituted when he was creating havoc down the right wing. We were lucky not to lose 2/3-0 by the end, but ironically we were beaten by a goal that never should have been allowed, but for a dreadful piece of refereeing.
That was the lowest crowd of the season tonight, and if this toothless football continues then it won’t be long before this figure drops further.

Certainly hasn't much of a clue how to get the team on the 'front foot' at home. So disappointing and fkn toothless up front.

Playing 1 up top in the middle the whole game said it all tbh

After wintle went off it looked like we had one man in the middle of the park,That’s outrageous.
Missing Ralls big time - we really do need x2 CM in Jan - Siopis will need a rest at some point.
Runnarsoj terrible for the first goal, surely now has to be dropped ??

Not a huge fan of Colwill but I think he was the best of a bad bunch today. Tried to get us going but didn’t seem to happen for whatever reason.

I wasn’t going to go down tonight, lost my grandmother early hours this morning, but I thought it would take my mind off it. What a god awful day all round… Robinson and Colwill need to be sold! I don’t think there was one positive from that game!

Going to be a very long and dreadful Christmas period all round.
