The standard being set by the current top 2 is RIDICULOUS

Soon we will have 5 teams running away with it leaving us to fight over one play off place with quite a number of teams.

The fact of the matter is we are not a top 6 side and as soon as our fans see that the better.

That's the fact of the matter, and as soon as our fans see it the better the season will be.
Let's just be grateful we are not struggling again.

Wow that is crazy .
Could be our turn next season if we get stronger players , and that will only be to get into the play offs after seeing how high the standard is getting

We had our chance when we last got relegated from the Premier with the parachute payments.

Doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.
Leicester kept a lot of their players from last season and their squad was really too good to be relegated but they had bad management.
Most teams don’t come down with squads anywhere near as good as that. The likes of Iheanacho, Dewbury-Hall, Faes, Ndidi etc are at least good enough for a mid table Premier League side.
Was always clear to me they would go up quite easily.
I also expected Ipswich to go up.
Some may look at them as a newly promoted side but they’re way more than that.
I always keep an eye on League One and League Two as well as the top two leagues.
Last season it was clear to anyone who followed League One that Ipswich were already a team ready to compete for promotion from the Championship.
They already had the players that were good enough and a very good manager.
They didn’t win League One last season, they finished in 2nd. But there was a run of games in the middle of the season where they didn’t pick up any points. Without that blip, they would have walked to the title.
So I’m not surprised at all how they’re both doing an expect that to continue.

This is the championship... We could be reading a stat in 3 months saying the worst end to a league season.

Absolutely. Although thr transfer window will be interesting to see who strengthens and if we do. They need to back Bulut though. He has worked a miracle with minimal spend already. He is clearly a top manager that knows his onions.

I think Leicester are gone with the wind; they are the class side of the Championship...
But I can see Leeds and/or Southampton catching Ipswich...
As for us, a top 6 finish would be a superb season; but for me, we will be chasing spots 5 and 6 rather than 3 and 4...

Agree with you Chris - That's the way I see it .
