No but he can still do it. I'm glad we've got him signed up. Wouldn't want him lining up against us.

The amount of goals he got last season was always going to be a one off, not many wide players would keep that up season after season.

Now thought he wont get near that amount of goals as he is playing a lot deeper, at times almost just ahead of the back 4 looking for the ball and spraying passes about everywhere. He has already got 5 assists I believe and won a pen so he is having an effect but IMO the two pen misses have knocked his confidence, he does now need a goal.

And to think loads were saying Gethin and DJ were wrong not to rush and sign them before the season instead of concentrating on new players, like Olofinjana and Bellamy

Hopefully now the contract is signed he can soley concentrate on getting back to his best, although I don't think any of us seriously thought he would repeat last seasons form, certainly on the goalscoring front.

Fiar play to DJ he has one hell of a job now by the sounds of things, Jay is the contract I was always worried about. He is the most wanted player I would imagine and could probably find a Premier team if he wound his contract down.

Now that we look like we have a good chance of promotion I wonder if he will think twice and sign ?????
