When's Ramsey back

Wed Nov 29, 2023 1:16 pm

We were told he was back running and could be fit after the international break, 2 games after and still no sign.

Last night's game showed how much we missed his leadership and shows why we need to reinforce the midfield in January.

He’s back running in training.

Understandably, they don’t want to rush him back and then make the injury worse. I’d rather us wait until January for him to come back and be in better condition.

I do think that Colwill should get a start now. Robinson was poor again last night and Colwill has been doing well from the bench.

I feel the same, Ned; and I'd include Ollie Tanner in tbe 'best from the bench' group... :ayatollah:

I agree with you there re OT Chris. He’s certainly improved hugely, particularly his all round game but for the time being I think he’s more suited to coming off the bench against a full babk who’s already played 60 mins or so.

Definitely start from the bench for Tanner, just a shame we couldn’t play Grant last night, it is a silly rule that needs to be re-looked at as it benches a fit player for 2 matches, there’s been seasons where a possible 6pts have been a massive difference in league position. It’s not a rule that’s utilised in any of the FIFA football games so surely it’s about time for it to be changed
