Staying there on my trip en route to basel for the switzerland v wales games anyone know of any good bars to check out or what the local beer should ask for !!!

Do not drink the Alt Bier unless you want a hangover. Pop over to Cologne and have a proper drink...i`ll be there`,,,,,always am lol

whatever u wanna do in Düsseldorf, go for the "Altstadt" where you will find one bar/pub after another... Alt beer is ok, but would prefer the Cologne Kölsch brew... Cologne is the nicer City, Düsseldorf still ok tho

go into cologne excellent place wnt there 4 nick_taffs 50th.............recomend an irish bar called BARNEY'S
