Keiffer Moore looking at houses in the Cardiff area

Sun Oct 22, 2023 8:14 am

At Blackburn yesterday yet again . I have to say Bulut continues to make the wrong midfield selections.
As Albert Einstein said, the essence of madness is to continously make the same mistake - and that is what Bulut is doing picking Ryan Wintle and Joe Ralls in the same midfield combination.

With Siopis as first pick as the defensive midfielder, we need one naturally left-footed player alongside him and one creative midfielder - and that ain't Wintle.

Without Arron Ramsey, that must be Cullum Robinson or Rueben Colwill or Ralls, with Adams alongside Siopis if the latter is selected.
For me, Wintle only plays if Siopis doesn't - he simply doesn't offer enough in this improved Cardiff team.

The addition of a quality two-footed midfielder in January is a must, and, with Ramsey fit, that will put Ralls and Wintle's positions in jeopardy.

I have to say too, I'd look at switching Callum O'Dowda into central midfield - once he is fit again, he could be our new Peter Whittingham.

A great ball player, he can pick a pass, can get forward and is a fabulous athlete.

Expect Keiffer Moore to be a Bluebird again within nine weeks - openly told everyone in the Wales squad last week he is "coming home" and is looking at houses in the Cardiff area - great news!

It is really good to have people in the know.

No idea if the Keiffer rumours are true we have heard it all before

However, in my humble opinion O Dowda as a central midfielder is definitely worth considering…that is a good shout :ayatollah:

In the absence of Ramsey. CO'D as our 10. Excellent shout and definitely worth a try.

Definitely not, O'Dowda is a wide player. The only natural 10's we have in the squad are Colwill and Ramsey.

Give him a go in training and as a sub. Patterson was a defender who ended up a striker and a fan favourite

Couldn’t agree with this more.
O’Dowda is a classic winger. He runs at the full back, gets to the by line, and sticks the ball in the right spot.

Whitts was always a fantastic wide player, who was better suited as a central player.
No disrespect to O’Dowda but comparing passing ability to Whitts is an insult to be honest.

O’Dowda is a fantastic player, but not in the mould of Whitts at all!

This is 100% correct. Moore was down here when wales played looking at houses.

I was thinking that a out odowda the other day, he has a good engine and a cultured left foot he works harder without the ball you don't know til you try it.

I recommended NegativeNinian27 as the solution to all our problems before Erol Bulut came in and Vincent Tan was on board with it; but Mehmet was adamant we were miving away from the negative football of recent years and wanted to build a rapport with the club's supporters; so that was the end of that...! ;)

Re Callum O'Dowda, I feel sure Erol Bulut has tried lots of combinations in training but for me, it would be Colwill before him in the No.10 position... :ayatollah:

Bully? My backside, fella!

No sign of you during that great (and very positive) win versus Huddersfield Town tonight, was there? Not until you waded in with (and I quote) the very negative "Cardiff played very, very well, but Huddersfield were TERRIBLE, so any sweeping statements need to be filtered"

More shots on target from them but we took ours (shall we say) more positively...! ;) :ayatollah: ;)

Ruined it with hour instead of house. I’ll hang my head in shame haha
