Erol Bulut:

“The physios say Kion won’t be fit for this Tuesday nights game.”

"You can win three or four games in a row, but you can also lose the next four in a row.”

“ Tuesday is a different, day, different week and will be a different game, every game is like this.”

“We could now go on and win four games in the Championship that’s how it works.”

TEAM NEWS:

Kion Etete expected return November.

Thankfully, Josh Bowler and Callum Robinson are both fully fit which will strengthen Cardiff’s offensive lineup.

We need to go to win the game and not go with the attitude we will keep defending till we go down 1 nil. Raise the tempo and go for it.

Replacing a renowned man manager like Neil Warnock is a tall order for anyone, and you might have forgiven Darren Moore if he had concentrated on differentiating himself from his predecessor by other means instead.

To the contrary, though, the Huddersfield Town gaffer has spent his first month in the job making sure each of his players get the personal care and attention he feels is vital to the job - with winger Sorba Thomas already going so far as to say that Moore serves as something of a father figure to his squad.

It may be reading too much into it to point out that the two youngest players in the Town starting line-up against QPR were the pair who grabbed the goals, with Kian Harratt and Jack Rudoni giving Moore's side what proved to be an unassailable two-goal lead inside 14 minutes.

But whatever the case may be, Thomas - who set up Rudoni's effort - has enjoyed working with Moore so far, saying: “Some people will say I'm not the best person to manage at times, but everyone goes through their periods and I feel like with Neil’s experience and with Darren’s experience, all we’ve got to do really is just sit there and listen. When they talk they’ve got the whole room listening.

“I'm always someone that's willing to learn, whether it's a different type of style that wants to come in and manage me, I'm always willing to learn, I'm a willing learner and I'm always ready to know what's next really.

Erol Bulut update and Kion Etete fitness update

Erol Bulut has confirmed that Kion Etete will not be available for Tuesday night's clash with Huddersfield Town.

The striker has missed Cardiff's last two outings due to a hamstring injury, and is unlikely to play any part in the trip to west Yorkshire.

Erol Bulut:

“The physios say Kion won’t be fit for this Tuesday nights game.”

"I think you reporters all know the Championship better than me," Bulut began when looking ahead to the clash with the Terriers.

Huddersfield Town will be targeting back-to-back home wins for the first time this season when they lock horns with Cardiff City. Saturday's hard-earned 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers lifted the Terriers up to 18th in the Championship.

It was Darren Moore's first win since taking over from Neil Warnock. Early goals by Kian Harratt and Jack Rudoni proved enough to see off the R's.

The Bluebirds make the long trek to West Yorkshire on the back of a 1-0 loss at Blackburn Rovers. It is now three matches without a win for Erol Bulut's 11th-placed side.

Brilliant by Meite and Bowler, a lovely backheel by Robinson.

Luckily home just in time to see that fantastic goal by the recently-maligned Callum Robinson...

I was only surprised his celebration didn't involve a run via the half-way line with a single digit raised towards his manager...!

Excellent start to the game for the Bluebirds... :ayatollah:
