Erol Bulut on signing free agents
Erol Bulut does not expect to sign any more free agents until the January transfer window after a deal for a player broke down before the international break.
Cardiff were keen on making a new signing a fortnight ago but there were legal obstacles which "could not be overcome", Bluebirds chairman Mehmet Dalman told Cardiff City Supporters' Trust.
Speaking for the first time since the failed move — the identify of the player is not yet known — Bulut said: "“We are looking always in the market at what we can get. It didn’t go through. We will continue. In January I hope we can do something. It will never end. Always we are looking and working on that.”
Asked specifically whether he thought any free agents will be signed before then, Bulut said: “I don’t think so. We will be with this squad until January.”
