What a class impact , scored one , made one, really hope this is the start of something great for him. Worked hard over the summer and it's paying off. Legend

He's always had the ability - and finally getting his chance to show it

Yeah his ability was never In doubt, just looked super raw past season, struggled to read the game and didn't help defensively. But he's been working hard and he looks so much better. This is the opportunity he needed and he took it. Legend, now where's the rum haha

He came on at exactly the right time. A bright future for sure and its fair to say he will never have to pay for a pint in Cardiff ever again :bluescarf:

Fair play to Tanner and the Manager to bring him on at the correct time - After what was said / done at Ipswich .

His first touch for his goal was ridiculous and set up the opportunity.

The finish was brilliant.

He has huge potential but will need to be managed right, which Bulut is doing.

Let's not forget that Spurs wanted him a couple of years ago.

He may well start on Tuesday because all the players that started gave everything tonight, and rightly so.

Would also expect either Rubin or Robinson to come in for Ramsey on Tuesday, he can't do three games in a week.

We needed a game changer and this lad was exactly that.

Personally I love players like Tanner, dare I say it he reminds me of Jack Grealish a proper footballer.

He has the confidence to beat any player but end product is what makes a player and tonight in a big game he has delivered.

Early days for the lad but if he carries on like this he will go right to the top.

Just a quick one on Ramsey. After the Wales v Armenia game I said his legs had gone and I didn't want him at City.

I will gladly admit I was 100% wrong. His football brain is miles ahead of any other player and tonight proved he still has the Legs to play 90 minutes he was absolutely everywhere.

I said exactly the same at the time. To come on as a young kid in a game of that magnitude in the bucketing rain and trap the ball like it's a bag of cement with your first touch tells you all you need to know about OT. Premiership player in the making for sure

Spot on! Managed to perfection last night after Ipswich. Clearly dangerous off the bench.

A fair few on here wrote the kid off because the mindset is if your good enough you will have made it by 21.
Tanner's different, only been pro for a short while. He needed to be afforded time

Yep. I think we got Tanner for maybe 2 seasons at best if he carries on at this trajectory. He’ll be picked up by a Premier League side. Let’s enjoy him whilst we can!

That's why we need to get him on a 5yr deal so anyone buying him will have to stump up big time.

Yeah I never understood that. Many players have developed later on. Look at Colwill. He’s still growing into his body.

Sometimes is used a means at getting on at the club

I would like to see a few more performances like that from him. Lets get that consistency box ticked on his profile.

If that happens I can see a lot of interest coming in for him, not this season but definitely next season.

Totally agree Chris, totally agree.

Winger with pace and happy to run at a defender.

If he starts to add consistency and end product we will have a player.

It is very important here.

Same sentiment here - love this lad. Fearless, enjoyment of wing play, a bit maverick. Trapped ball cut inside and unleashed an exocet which arrowed into the left hand corner.

Bulut needs to keep building the boy up and I'm confident he will.

Great touch great goal :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I think VAR would've given him offside though... Not been talked about... Who cares :occasion5:
