BOTHROYD TO MISS A GAME

Sat Oct 02, 2010 6:22 pm

Very soon if he carries on picking up yelllow cards at the pace he is currently collecting them, so far Jay has got 3 yellows in 8 games.

And we know we do not play the best when we are without him.

I disagree I think we need Bothroyd more than Bellamy and as much as Olofinjana

We desperately need cover for Jay, it is inevitable that he will be suspended soon.

It would be our luck that he would be suspended for the Jacks game. :(

How many bookings is it for a suspension?

If we lose Jay for a home game and have Oli and Bellers fit I think Keogh can step in and we can still get a result. WOuldnt be so easy away tho

5 bookings = 1 game ban

A further 5 bookings = 2 game ban

Inevitable he will miss a match.

Just hope it's not a vital one.

Is Jones actively looking for cover for Jay? I'm sure I've read in one of Carl's updates that DJ is noy looking to add further to the squad before January but surely he must realise that if Jay is injured or suspended we have a problem and the games that Jay missed through injury have proven that Keogh is NOT the answer.

In my opinion we will struggle again without Jay, even if Bellamy is playing.

We still need proper cover for Jay.

I think we could cope without Jay if everyone else is fit. However, this problem keeps arising with Jay and it's something DJ needs to get a grip on.

Keogh and Jay have both played upfront on there own at previous clubs so no reason one of them couldnt here as long as the midfield can adapt.

We need Bellamy more than anyone, we're no more than a play offs team without him Jay is important but Bellamy adds something we've been missing for as long as I can remember, someone who can score or create a goal out of no where
