BULUT talking nonsense ?:

I very much hope and will be very disappointed if Bulut is the type who finds excuses for failure ….particularly excuses that make no sense .

If he is then he will lose credibility and stature …..very early in his managerial tenure at CCFC . Bulut and his mentor Dalman have received massive support and left a very positive welcome feeling by the fans …..I hope that he does not lose that by offering shallow excuses .

I believe Bulut is the best manager since Warnock to come here , but we want him to be straight taking no matter what happens on the pitch.

Fans are not stupid at all ….by and large they are very perceptive and will not be fooled. Yesterday we lost to

QPR a team that is expected to perform poorly this season . It was a blow that most people did not expect . Bulut’s excuse was deflecting it on the players ….who carried the effect of having a ‘losers’ mentality ….carried from last season .

Wow …..he is going to work on alleviating this losers mentality ….this psychological inferiority. Well only NG , Wintle and O’Dowda were regulars as well as McGuiness.

To start with I can’t see any of those being overwhelmed or carrying a complex from last season .

The opposite is true ….we played well against a good Leeds side (albeit greatly depleted) and the feeling in our camp was sky high ….rightly believing that we acquitted ourselves very well both attacking wise and defending.

Alnwick confidence must have been sky high as well. In summary , I believe , that Bulut’s excuse is ‘bollocks’ .

I hope that he does not lose credibility by spouting such nonsense.

Time will tell I guess but I liked the fact he is willing to admit we have problems unlike Harris etc who always seemed to think we were always unlucky when we could all see how poor we were …
It’s the defensive mistakes that concern me most in that the first goal was totally avoidable so he had to sort it out quick.
Bulut is getting a proper introduction as to how hard the championship is and I think he will be given more time by the fanbase to deliver but he’s got to keep everyone onside and you can only do that by winning games …
Let hope the 3 signings he’s on about are first teamers not fringe players …

After that and its what I feared but I feel its just an extension of last season.

Most games last season we only played for about 15 minutes and that was when we went behind most of the times. Teams against us got the lead and just saw the games out. Exactly what happened yesterday.

I'm getting tired of the excuse of they have not been together long enough so give them time. We have had this excuse over the last few seasons and its getting tiring. How many news dawns followed by failure?

The only good thing is we have time on our side to sort this out. The club and players have put a lot of pressure on themselves now and if things don't change then expect the support, which as expected has been awesome, to turn.

I think he says it as he sees it. He's working along side the players daily and equally more experienced than any of us to judge.
Its not a coincidence that the same players who struggled for two years drop their heads.
He can't come out and slate them early doors, negative impact. He needs to be careful with his words until he gets in the players he wants (the 3 extra)

But judge us after 10 games really.

I think we were nervous yesterday.

Too many are being asked to do stuff they struggle with. Fundamentally our club for over a decade has been functional and direct, i think our fans (overall) prefer that and struggle to hide their frustration when the pointless passing kills any momentum.

Bulut is new to English football and probably underestimated how physical and quick it is compared to more technical leagues, you don't have time to take that second and in our case third touch to control the ball without a protein fueled athlete snapping at your heels, he may need a little rethink on inverted full backs making numbers up in midfield and how to get the best out of Rambo.

Early days, yet so far no difference than last season. I like Bulut for his straight talking and long May it continue, he knows we are not good enough.

What ever happens this season Bulut will take the applause or the bullut. He can’t blame the players though as he has to take responsibility as he has been here since June 1st. Had plenty of time and warm up games with the team. I think he will come good , needs to accept he is the boss so if we play badly take some responsibility

Good to have an open debate on how we feel our manager is in press conferences, I like him so far

It's nice to have an open and honest manager, most on social media are agreeing with his assessment of the game in his after game press conference.

The team will gel and improve but I'm not buying the nerves and players affected by last 2 seasons reasoning put forward by Bulut either.

It was more a case of they don't yet look a unit, too much going through Ramsey, and some pairings not working (O'Dowda and Grant yet again on his wrong side) and a couple yet to find their feet (Goutas the moat obvious yesterday).

The lack of passing and movement for that tortuous first hour was really poor though.

Not sure Bulut himself is above criticism. That first half was so poor that nobody would have argued had he changed one or two then.

Instead, Robinson only came on with some change as Ebou went off injured, then no changes were made until 17 mins to go (10 mins) after we were 2 down and then a couple with 6 mins left.

To me, we should have been more far pro-active than that and left these changes far too late unfortunately.

Yesterday it was as if we were watching last season with the same players & same manager. Individual mistakes cost us yes but the root of the problem was that we are slow with no intensity & there is a total lack of confidence playing at home which obviously stunned Bulut listening to his post match comments. We have made some decent signings considering all the restrictions although Grant looks poor but we also lost our three best players so in my season’s predictions I had QPR to finish 23 & Cardiff 19th I guess it could be the other way around especially if we don’t find a way of winning at home.

We have to remember Robbo is coming back from a long injury, so I guess he wasn't dropped but eased back in.

Wez,

The nervous bit I don’t agree with as these are not kids, many have been around a long time and are tough and true professionals.

I do believe we will get better though.

I like Bulut's honesty and he gave a fair summary of the game. I dont think he made excuses, he was right to pick out the slow mentality of the team. It was poor.

QPR are a weak team but played with more aggression and we're up for it. I think this was because the pressure on Ainsworth was huge yesterday. I think he would have been sacked if they'd lost. Bulut is now going to feel pressure because we are wont get anything from Leicester and we'll be searching for a first win against Sheff Wed. Lets see how he reacts. Ultimately Bulut has to motivate his players and grow confidence.

Unfortunately for him two years of abject football means theres very little patience from fans but even though its hard we and the club need to stick with him even if we are bottom 6 after 10 games.

I lot of the people I sat with said we looked cautious/nervous 1st half so I agree with him to a certain extent, 2nd half we were alot better tbh

I relate to what he said, we did look nervous even short passes were being over hit and misplaced. The two wingers and striker underperformed. Odowda wasted at the back and yes he switched off for a second but he is as consistent a player we have. Qpr were poor and most sides would have beaten them. Onto Leicester and it would be no surprise if City get a result. After watching them for 40 years we lose when nailed on and surprise when the underdogs. Always been the way.

Nothing really to be nervous about, not kids, stadium behind them, playing what I see as a very very poor QPR team.
Let’s hope we are not like that next home game as you know our fans they will turn.

We have players with a lot of games behind them and some quality this season.
