Hearing it’s Jonathan Panzo’s turn. He’s in talks to join the Erolbulution and give the #Bluebirds that smooth, lefty CB that everyone craves.
Nottingham Forest aged 22

Was sent out on loan to Coventry City last season And was a Success.

It’s looking very close

Brilliant. I'm sure it will too.
These few signings must surely have a positive affect on the whole team and the club in general.
It'll take time, but I'm sure we'll be far happier than last season.

Brilliant signing if it happens.
Bulut said last week there was no interest, but I think he was probably trying to calm the rumours down.

I’ve been expecting and hoping for this one, come on let’s get it done.

If we had to play with 3 CBs then Goutas, McGuinness and Panzo would certainly be worthy of top 6. Would allow O’Dowda/Collins and Ng/Romeo to add more firepower to the attack.
Excited for this year

If all goes through:
The Signing of Jon Panzo from Forest on a season-long loan would be a major step forward.
Clearly Simpson is not up to the standard now required at Cardiff City and I believe he will be one amongst a number of players loaned or moved perminantly in this window.
At 22, Panzo, who really starred during his loan to Championship Play-off Finalists Coventry City last season, would represent a great investment for Cardiff.
He grew up with Iker Ogbo in the Chelsea academy, the smooth left-footer able to easily slot into left central defence or our problematic left-back spot.
Panzo is excellent in the air and would really reinforce us at defensive set plays.
The relationship between Forest and Cardiff is excellent - thanks mainly via Erol Bulut's deep friendship with the City Ground club owner Evan Marinakis, Greek football tethering their strong relationship.

Still scabby bastards and will always be scabby bastards.

Chatter from Brum and Bristol City fans about them getting him.
Mainly hopeful on their part but shows how much he is wanted.

Ned I did drop a hint a while back when Bulut said no interest "at the moment"
I did say "He would say that wouldn't he"

Sounds like it's more to do with Bulut's friendship with the Forest owner.

So if he signs and we play 442 who are our first choice centre back? A nice problem to have

Either way if it comes off this summer dealings have be brilliant and this season should be better than the dross served up last few years we've all had to endure.

Tbf it should be the Leeds partnership to start with but I suspect it will soon be Panzo and Goutas.

yes, but McGuiness will get chances to play often one or the other will be out, we need at least three and hope we don't have to use Simpson.

Or play 3 centre halves with genuine wing backs (odowda and ng) switch to 442 if required. Confident that this manager will have a plan b, c and d if required.

Could always play a CB in DM role like a lot of teams are going. 3-2-4-1.

Cardiff City have made ambitious signings despite facing a transfer embargo, bringing in players like Karlan Grant, Yakou Meite, and Josh Bowler.
The team still needs to address their deficiencies, particularly in the central defender position, and they are close to signing Jonathan Panzo on loan from Nottingham Forest.
Panzo would be a valuable addition to the team, being a left-footed centre-back with excellent ball-playing qualities that align with Cardiff's possession-based style of play and help them build from the back.
Cardiff City have embarked upon an ambitious shopping spree - albeit under transfer embargo - as they plot fresh targets and renewed ambition for this term.
