Digital season ticket

Is anyone in the same situation regarding the digital "match" ticket on your phone?
Last season it all worked fine and the ticket updated automatically after every game, to the next game with the team, date & time shown. This season all I have is a generic season ticket with no team, date or time. I contacted the ticket office several weeks ago about the issue, but the girl on the phone seemed rather vague about the issue and said it should all work ok, but to call back in the week before the game if it's still the same. Well it's still the same so I phoned the office back today. The guy on the phone understood what I was on about, and put me on hold while he spoke to a colleague about the issue. When he returned, he said they are aware of an issue and are trying to resolve it. He said even though the ticket does not have the team, date & time on it, it should still work???, and if it doesn't update for the next game to contact them again??? I said I hope it will work as it will be absolute chaos down there on Saturday if not.

Worst case scenario is that if they can't resolve it, they'll email you the tickets to scan for the game. Usually they're very good at the ticket office

Maybe, but the problem is that I will be in the turnstile cubicle trying to to scan my phone, before I know if it won't work. That will go down well, not only with me, but with everyone behind me. I just wondered if anyone else has this issue?

I have the same issue, all I have received is a digital season card, it gives my details and a bar code, but no match information which I hope will get me through the turnstile on Saturday, if it doesn't Blue54 is correct there will be chaos..

Hi Mike. Seems we have the same issue. My season ticket card has my name, seat number etc and hopefully the all important QR code, but as I said no match details, unlike last year. If they don't work, I guess we'll be sat on the floor, heads in hands OUTSIDE the turnstiles. See you there.

Why the hell do we have ticketing problems evert year. Someone should be taken to task over it. I have this seasons season ticket on my phone. If this dodoesn'work will my card from last season work. Can you imagine the chaos and trouble this could cause on Saturday.

Delete it and retry downloading it from your account, if it doesn’t work then phone the office and explain you’re getting an error (search my previous post about digital season tickets for the image and tell them that the error you’re getting, they will cancel you ticket and every ticket attached and resend you a new link to download your season ticket

Just using last seasons plastic ticket and have no problems as a result.

Thanks for the reply snoopy, but I re-downloaded it 3 times and they cancelled the originals during my phone call with the girl in the ticket office several weeks ago, but it still downloaded the same format. (I didn't mention this in my OP as I didn't think it mattered). I also tried that again today, with still the same outcome. Looking at your post from your link, I didn't have any message of FORBIDDEN or any ERROR or anything like that. Everything downloaded apparently fine, but just a generic season card as I've mentioned before. Just to say I used this system last season, so I have done it before, and everything for every game worked fine last year. I just hope it works on Saturday.

I spoke to the ticket office yesterday afternoon and they are aware of problem with the digital tickets, they told me the QR code on the season card you have been sent should get you through the turnstile, they also confirmed my credit card type ticket from last season has been reactivated, I found them very helpful and if you are having problems may be worth a call

I used my phone for most games last year but always took my season ticket card as back up.
