I remember their fans saying they'd beat us last season.

Don't get me wrong I want them to do well. But they've all of a sudden got this belief they are some powerhouse in football.

They are deluded if they think their squad will see them through this division. They've only brought in two players and their striker is out for months.

Be interesting to see if the owners can make the big decisions. I cannot see Parkinson lasting out the season.

They absolutely hate Cardiff.

I am glad there back in the league, but they can stay there now in League 2.

There's a huge difference between League Two and the National League, both Wrexham and Notts County found that out the hard way today.

Last season Wrexham actually conceded quite a few goals. They didn't care because they knew they'd score more goals than their opponent. Doesn't work like that in EFL.

Both clubs will need to bring in a fair amount of new players to even compete for the top seven. They're under EFL rules for FFP now so they'll find that more difficult.

A lot of clubs come up from non league and then just stop when they get to League Two. Salford are a good example of that. They quickly got up the leagues and into League Two, with people saying they'd soon be in the Championship. But they've found it difficult to get into League One.

It's not an easy league.

Bonkers that Salford have Conor McAleney playing for them. Doesn’t feel like it was that long ago he was playing for us. At a much higher level than league 2!

Salford have proven you can't keep spending and go up. Hard league to get from with some real battle axe players. Irrelevant of money in the club you need the right everything to get out of it :bluescarf:

I've said before a ball was kicked to Wrexham fans who think somehow there going up again that they need to stay up 1st season because there in for a shock if they think there walking that league sadly imo.

I do think both promoted teams will do well in this league However in this league they will find at least 7/8 teams at their level where last season they only had each other at the same level. A season with many harder games will have it affects over a season

Salford had a shock when they went up after spending, they’ve established themselves as a mainstay in L2 and this season could challenge for promotion, it’s been what? 5 seasons for them?? Long hard road for Wrexham and Notts County
