Looks like Jon Panzo from Forest will be signed as centre back/left-back cover.

He would seem to fit the bill, 23 in October, played 29 Championship matches on loan at Coventry City last season.

Obviously lost his way at the City Ground since going there from French football 20 months ago.

Two-footed, salary around £10k per week, which fits the Cardiff budget.

It would give Bulut more options in the centre of defence - choosing two from McGuiness, Goutas, Simpson and, potentially, Panzo.

There is also more option in switching to a back three and operating wing-backs, if the need arises.

Ex-Fulham apprentice Xavier Benjamin would likely go straight out on loan .



There is apparantly interest in Panzo from a couple of clubs in Belgium, and Coventry City.

Panzo, capped at multiple levels below senior status by England, and who was once rated as a £5m defender, has managed only one league start at Forest.

This would be a decent signing Annis

As you said, he can cover a couple of positions across the back

Always concerns me when a team fairly near where I assume a player is living comes in for him. Will he want to move home?

Is this as a loan or on a free ? If it’s a loan then the O’Brian rumour is definitely not going to happen.

Panzo is under 23 , so O'Brien could still happen !
Nottm Forrest have Greek owners , who also own Olympiacos.

You can only have two loanees from one club at at time, irrespective of age, over the course of a season you can loan Upto 4 from a club, but two have to be under 23 and only two at a time.
