Virgin are upping the ante now I think - with some of the Sports in HD and SKY1 having gone HD yesterday I am more than happy with them and they are nicking loads of SKY customers. Their Broadband is far superior to anyone elses.

what I did was rung sky up told them I wanted to cancel because I lost hours in work and couldn't afford payments,they said why don't u go on basic package,but I said I got it mainly for sports and movies,so would rather cancel,so they gave me 6 months full package for half price,got told to say this by friend,and will.say the same after 6 months.

I rang up to cancel my sky. I was offered all sorts of packages but I stuck to my guns and said if I can not have all the channels I am canceling.

Finally I was offered all the chanells for £23.50 for 6 months, I have lost HD and multi-room which is worth it for 6 months. I was paying £67 a month.
