old "proper" lads

Fri Oct 01, 2010 8:16 pm

the subject of moving grange end back to near away fans is great point but i would also like to see all the singers stay in ninian stand an proper lads who wear the clobber an are up for the cause break away an take up position back in the main grandstand?
on travelling away you normally can pick out "there lads" as they sit away from the choir :)
call me old fashioned but its how it was when it all took off, remember early 80s when the cardiff lads took up position in lower grandstand ? started with about 60 then grew to about 300 on good day ! these were the dressers an pre soul crew ,
at stamford bridge you had the "shed" which was actually dubbed "the shed is for plebs" by there dressers as they moved to the south stand an north stand! villa sat in block c hence the corner crew!
how i wish oh how i wish , think i need to get with the times but to all you who no me an travelled with me etc you no we all feel the same? them days were very special to us young uns as we were !
FROM ELY TRENDY TO SOUL CREW!!
comments please an dont be to harsh!
i want comments especially from lord ninian , forever blue eddie may an all who no me please oh an claude jack opps blue

The old days will never be beaten, they were days never to be forgot, yes the lads had their areas and stood out, they never bothered any of the other fans.
Lads stopped going on the terraces from about 83-88,Sat in the seats for a few yrs. then started to return.
