Striker Callum Robinson says new signing Grant will bring proven quality to the ranks after joining on loan from West Brom.

The two are reunited in the Welsh capital and will be looking to strike up a partnership to bring goals to this Cardiff team - something which was sorely lacking last term.

Grant knows how to find the back of the net at this level and Robinson is excited to see what the pair can do together.

"Obviously, I knew Karlan Grant from West Brom so I know his qualities, but I haven't played with him for a while!" he said of his room-mate in Portugal.

"He has a lot of quality. He's proven, he's scored goals in the Championship, but he's not just a goalscorer. He brings a lot to the game: one-v-ones, running in behind, stretching it for us.

"There's a lot of quality up in those forward areas now, and I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully we've got that fire power to get a lot of goals this season.

"It's exciting times, and now it's about getting a relationship with Iké and Yakou as well."
