A forum for all things Cardiff City

Cardiff City currently have just over 14,000 season ticket holders, No
More than last season.
CARDIFF CITY’S SEASON TICKETS ARE THE 3RD CHEAPEST IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP / 7TH CHEAPEST IN THE EFL 72 CLUBS & EVEN CHEAPER THAN NEWPORT COUNTY.
We can sell way more than 18,000, we are allowed 22,500 season ticket holders if the demand is there.
All other clubs have increased their sales.
WE HAVE ALREADY 5 NEW PLAYERS & A NEW MANAGER EROL BULUT:
Aaron Ramsey had come home he has delivered.
Dalman has finally come through, Tan is virtually nothing to do with this season.
NOW ITS OVER TO YOU CARDIFF CITY FANS / SUPPORT THE BLUEBIRDS & PACK THE CCS

Dimitris Goutas, Ike Ugbo, Yakou Meite, Aaron Ramsey and Karlan Grant
And I know for a fact Bulut is currently in discussions with 2 more players if they come off?

Very excited!

Completely agree with sentiment here.
Admittedly we've had several bog average/ mediocre seasons but now the positivity and activity this preseason is off the scale with hopefully more to come.
I think 14000 ST sales is pathetic when compared to some of our peer group. We can do so much better. Where are all these Sky Sports Premier league glory hunters gone from 2019?
Given we now have the Wales captain and are undoubtedly Wales' biggest professional football club with a great stadium, I'd expect us to push the 20k ST holder mark!
If I'm being harsh on the missing thousands / talking crap, I'm sure I'll be challenged on this

I am not sure we will sell many more season tickets because of Ramsey. However our match day attendance will increase because of him being here.
If we get off to a great start thou we will season and increase when they issue the half season tickets.

Season ticket sales are very poor considering what's going on. Capital city club with large catchment area. Come on City fans support the club and the team, they need you.You CAN make a difference.

When CCFC fans back the team,in numbers, there’s nothing better!
In years gone bye, fans have left but now may return!
Get behind OUR club!!

I may be so far off the mark here and I will be glad to be so.
But I do not see the Ramsey signing drawing in and extra 3, 4 or 5k of season tickets.
Yes it is massive news and was even the third transfer story on Sky last night but surely all those who would buy a season ticket already would have.

Wayne I was actually just thinking exactly the same. I really hope that I’m proved wrong though and a few of the ‘I used to go’ fans buy one.

I was one of them use to go fans but will now buy season ticket.

It should increase dramatically, it’s awful at the moment at these cheap prices , other clubs are much more expensive.
We should eventually hit 20,000 in my view with the size of our fan base.

Unfortunately it's always taken time to build our season tickets or promotion but that's more the premier league football brand.
We had a steady build up of season tickets through the DJ and MM time where we were knocking the door year on year and playing exciting football.
I think we may scrape the 15,000 but like said above there will be a big crowd 1st game of the season. If we maintain a challenge there will be decent crowds around the 18,000 - 20,000
If got promotion we'd sell the 22,000 season tickets comfortabley

Clubs ticket pricing is excellent. Keep doing good initiatives like kids for a £1 on unpopular games.
Season ticket holders bring a friend half price etc.
Really good discount for half season tickets at Christmas
And maybe a new Ramsey themed season ticket drive where you don't get the early bird prices but a discount on the current price might help

Hi Annis don't know you obviously but to let you know I will be buying a season ticket.

New poster 2 season tickets on Monday come on city

Moved back to Cardiff in June and have been a bit unsure whether to get a season ticket again after 3 years away.
The signings this summer mean it would be poor form not to so finally made up the decision this morning to renew

I wouldn't worry I don't think we've averaged less than 20000 per season since we moved to the CCS 14 years ago the biggest crowds since the 1960s .

Shame there are so many liverpool, Manure armchair fans in this area, more than most other areas. If only half of them supported city we'd have sell out games regularly.
