Nearly 15 years since the last game there..Strange to think fans in their late teens/early twenties would never have had the chance to experience the “unique” atmosphere at Ninian

Stood in the same place for many years before the seats arrived and built up some fantastic friendships, many of which remain today!
Some of the best atmospheres I have experienced anywhere occurred in the old Ninian Stand (
the infamous Leeds United game being high amongst them) and I do miss the place...

Thats full .We used go each Saturday pint in the old arcade then lloyds a bag of chips then walk to the ground .The songs the atmosphere etc was brilliant. Tackles flying in remember lethal lynex used to love his full on tackles. George would with no hair and so much more .A ground that was a part of every cardiff fan .
In many many ways i preferred it to now a lot of things stayed at ninian park you all no what i mean .

I remember so well some great games there. And some of the older players
Like Cardiff boy Peter Peter Rodrigues, Goal keeper Dilwyn John, Peter King, Ivor Allchurch Mel & John Charles, Don Murry , Barry Jones. DICK Scott. I could go on and on. Great days with hard tuff players.
