Reports in Belgium that Cardiff owner Vincent Tan is looking to sell KV Kortrijk.

Bournemouth were thought to be keen and Burnley were put off by the asking price - which has been upped from £10.5m to £15m.

Cardiff City's Vincent Tan rejects Bournemouth and Burnley bids for his club and demands more money amid a crisis at the club.

The Bluebirds owner owns two other clubs on the continent and it is reported in Belgium he wants to sell one of them

However, the last week has seen Kortrijk endure turmoil, with chairman Ronny Verhelst and general manager Matthias Leterme both announcing they would leave the club, citing an "unreasonable attitude" from their Malaysian owner as one of the deciding factors, according to Flemmish newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.

The team's manager, Bernd Storck, had already left the club, leaving Kortrijk without a number of senior figures ahead of what looks like a huge summer restructure.

The report adds that Tan would prefer to sell the club, which he purchased for around €5million eight years ago. And there has been interest, too.

Tan also wants to sell his Welsh club Cardiff City and has received numerous offers, but it’s believed he wants £200mill.

He will never learn. How the hell he has made his money I don’t know. Sounds like the worst person to work for in the world.

I have asked this question... " How the hell has he made money". Looking at it from this area of business: he is bloody clueless. :banghead:

If there is an offer of 100Mill + 100Mill, on promotion: take it and grow the fook up.

My View:

Because Malaysia is shall I say very corrupt and he gets what he wants, Europe is quite the opposite and he is clueless on football.

Surely if he wants to keep Cardiff, he should also keep the Belgian club in case we are promoted.

If Burnley and Bournemouth want to buy them, then it is obviously the way forward for Prem teams.

We are ahead of the game for once.

Stupid question... is Tan losing money month on month, or is it our club? (Isolating Cardiff City on not anything else in his portfolio)?

Management resignations stating VT lack of interest now where have we seen that before

The season is over on the pitch, but not yet behind the scenes for KV Kortrijk.

The future of KV Kortrijk is uncertain. The club would be looking for buyers and Ronny Verhelst and Matthias Leterme have already announced their resignation.

General manager Ken Choo, however, reassures everyone. “I get a lot of calls from Belgium,” he said in Het Nieuwsblad. “I can reassure everyone: everything will be fine. In the near future, I will return to Belgium and clarify the situation.

Coach Bernd Storck is also leaving KV Kortrijk, and Vincent Tan appears to have been persuaded to sell the club. Bournemouth and Burnley were interested, but that interest appears to have cooled.

Cheers Buddy.

Similar to Sabri asking about Bagan and King and not hearing back from anyone.

Never mind disinterest, just basic manners would be nice.

Beginning to think VT is looking at another manager again , ridiculous , what’s Darren Purse doing.
He is obviously just trying to tread water with his clubs.

Asking our goalkeeper to have more shots on goal when David Marshall was in goal - was the warning sign ;)

This report tells a story that is all too familiar. Tan wants sell, someone shows interest, so he thinks he's priced too low and ups the price...

Added to that the 'unreasonable behaviour' claims from his non-Berjaya employees and we can see that it's not just us who are bemused by his antics

If Cardiff City FC is the 'jewel in his crown' he needs to sell up the other two and concentrate on the one project, as neither of the other two can be seen as a 'feeder' club for us and are therefor pointless (from our perspective, if not theirs)
