is it me or is naylor the worse defender i seen at city for years. he must be buying DJ beer he is rubbish, he cant turn, cant tackle every 10 passes he makes he gives the ball away 9 times i cant see anything good in him DJ should be kevin mac at left back different class to naylor. wake up DJ get rid before we play good teams with good wingers.

did you see the leicester and ipswich game, hes was our stand out player and everyone to a man said it.
hes had 2 poor games, hes human. he was no worse than whitts, keogh, koumas, burke, last night.
get beaten once in his position matters a bit more than getting beaten on the half way line if your whitts.
everyone goes through a bad spell. he puts alot more effort in that alot of others in a city shirt.

i agree he needs to improve alot, im not a fan of his much, but i think there are players who need to look at themselves alot harder at present than he does

Yeah I agree he is rubbish, surely DJ can see that he is the weakest link in our defence, If he plays at Barnsley it won't take them long to suss out and we could be dealt with another away defeat.

I was worried to death after the first 20 minutes but to be fair he stuck at it and got the better of that winger in the 2nd half.

Up to, and including, the Hull game I thought he was the answer to our LB problems. Against Pompey, in particular, he looked outstanding. I just hope the last two games are his bad ones for the season, otherwise we may have to ring Mr Capaldi

Exactly. I'll settle for staying in the top two after the weekend, then when we all come back for the visit of Bristol, everyone (including Bellamy, Chopra and Drinkwater) will be fit and ready to go.

what scares me about Naylor is that players get past him way to easy especially when he doesnt have much support we are so vulnerable down the left at the moment and teams are taking advantage of this. Millwall scored from this weakness and palace nearly did the same last night

Naylor is no where near as bad as people are making out, I can see people are already turning on him no matter what though and I feel he may end up a nervous wreck now like Rhys Weston was. IMO Naylor made as many mistakes as Oli on tuesday but no one got up in arms when Oli made a mistake?

Naylor was awful saturday and for 20mins tues yes but previous had looked good, he is strong going forward and has IMO is the best crosser at the club. After the first 20mins sat he got stronger and stronger as the game went on before he went off injured, was he excellent? no of course not but he wasnt as bad as people want to make out.

My fullbacks for saturday would Naylor and McNaughton I have complete faith in both and while I dont expect people to agree with me that is my opinion.
