Our squad's missing element..

Our Captain has no voice!

Take the game last night... Hudson had a good solid game BUT he never seems able to find his voice and CAPTAIN the side! He just sits back, does his job in defense (sometimes ) but never tries to get the teams morale up.

The captain's armband, IMO needs to be with someone who has got something to say to people when they cock up or play well etc and be able to organise the team and bring spirits up! The likes of Bellamy surely?!

I'm not in anway a fan of Hudson, however I applaud how he is playing at the moment. To be fair, he has had back to back solid games and I hope it continues. He just needs to bring some leadership to his game...

Also, is it just me, or has our team gone soft as shit without a 'hardman' on the field? Players seem scared to close a man down and are backing down in strength when it comes to fighting the man off the ball

What I meant by 'the likes' of Bellamy, was that in the current line up, we need someone who is not afraid to make things happen and take charge of the team on the pitch

Couldn't agree with you more! not 1 player the last 2 home games has shown leadership quality. If Bellers or Chops (Even Anthony Gerrad if we still had him) where on the field they would of been hyping up the other players say with 20 mins to go at 0-0. Like you said Hudson was brilliant last night but has no voice!
