Cracking player - Gave his all for Us and still going strong .

I think he was a good player for us but steadily went downhill in the last few years.

Nobody can doubt his ability and to captain his Country a major honour. In his last season, he was able to break up play but couldn't use possession as he used to.

Would he make our midfield now? Still possibly yes. Our current midfield is average. On some days it is good, but its never consistent.

Fair points that I personally agree with.

Bit unfair to say he went steadily downhill. In his last two seasons he helped us get promoted in one of them and the final season was in the Premier League.

I remember in the Liberal club arguing with some random guy about him after he had a bad game.
This bloke was telling me how useless he was and should not be playing.I remember saying how much we will miss him when he is gone.....point proved I think.
