Nathan Broadhead scored a last minute equaliser to give Wales a 1-1 draw away at Croatia in Split.

Wales didn't play well but it's a very good point away at the group favourites.

Wales begin their Euro 2024 qualification campaign on Saturday with a difficult visit to Split in Croatia. The game kicks off at 7.45pm, it is live on S4C and ViaPlay.

The top two teams in each of the ten groups will automatically qualify for Euro 2024 in Germany, who automatically qualify as hosts. The remaining three qualifiers will do so via the Nations League play-offs.

The other teams in the group are Armenia, Latvia and Turkey.

Armenia play Turkey earlier on Saturday.

Wales have had a few injury problems already. Brennan Johnson hasn't travelled to Croatia, while Ben Davies and Wayne Hennessey withdrew from the squad.

It is the start of a new era for Wales, with Aaron Ramsey replacing the retired Gareth Bale as captain.

There are seven uncapped players in the squad as well as Tom Bradshaw's return to the squad for the first time since 2018.

Not very confident about getting anything tonight in fact I’m genuinely feeling like we could get walloped 3 or 4 nil.Quite few players not playing regularly and some others not in the best of form.

Page is not the problem, he picked the same line up in the WC the majority would have picked.We are & always have been short of class players always were before Bale & a few others came along at the same time, we're heading back to where we belong in the world rankings with a win being hailed as a great victory.
Some people have only ever known the successes of both Wales & Cardiff city & not the teams of the 70s 80s & 90s when a win against anyone was a great victory.

Not S4C’s fault, they’re legally prohibited from providing English commentary.

English broadcasting is exclusive to yet another sports subscription that came to the UK in November I forget the name.

We’re very privileged to have S4C to even provide us a picture, the Scots have had to pay up for the new broadcaster
