Sheikh Jassim Al Thani of Qatar has submitted an improved offer for Premier League club Manchester United. The exact figure is unknown at this stage but it is believed to be a world record sum for a football club.
Ineos chief Jim Ratcliffe has also submitted an improved offer.

It will be interesting to see which one gets the club and it will speak volumes of the Glazer brothers intentions. Given the incredible fee about to be paid (some of it assuming 'future value') it remains to be seen whether they have Manchester United's or their own interests at the top of their agenda...
It is reported (but remains to be seen) that Sheikh Jassim Al Thani has submitted the higher bid but Sir Jim Radcliffe has the more saleable one
As I say, it's going to be an interesting watch...

Nice to see the globally inflated market rigged oil price profits are being put to good use.
I hope that whoever is in charge of pitching out club to potential buyers would leverage Wrexham's high profile Hollywood exposure owners marketing output to them as to the potential of investing in a Welsh capital city club with a catchment area of 1.5 million and who have been in the PL (briefly) twice and if run properly, could easily do it again?

I'm no businessman, so what do I know, but.....
£5 to £6 billion? Couldn't you make a club bigger than Man U for a fraction of that cost?
I understand the profile of the club is massive around the world but that is just built on success and a more successful club could take their place.
The sort of fans around the globe that follow them only chase successful clubs and would soon move to a more successful one.

Don’t really understand the rationale for Radcliffe, but for your Saudis, Qataris etc it’s an opportunity to get their grubby oil hands on an historic institution and sportswash
