' Politician wades into pitch farce debate '


Meanwhile, Welsh Labour's Alun Davies MS has called on Rotherham United to be punished for their alleged role in postponing Saturday's Championship game with Cardiff City.

Davies, who's Member of the Senedd for Blaenau Gwent, believes the Millers should subsequently be ordered to forfeit the game, and even called on the hosts to be deducted points.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "It’s not a kick-around in a park and rain is not an unusual meteorological phenomenon. Rotherham should forfeit the game and lose some points."

He is a City fan though!
