Looks like Thursday is cut off point for EFL to sanction clu

Looks like Thursday is cut off point for EFL to sanction clubs. Reading (spending) could lose six points, Wigan (unpaid wages) three and Huddersfield (admin) potentially 12 points. Nothing set in stone but any punishment will have a big impact on the Champ relegation battle

Annis the EFL will again bottle it, if any points deduction it will be next season. They will say there is not enough time to fully investigate, although they have known about the clubs breaking the rules for months :banghead:

I think if Huddesfield had lost yesterday they may accepted they were going down anyway and taken the 12 points deduction this season and gone into administration so they could start afresh next season. Any potential buyer would prefer that over taking over a club that gets relegated and then goes into admin with the 12 points deducting next season.

Now they have a chance of staying up the picture has changed.
