Just had this off a top person at Huddersfield:
12 point deduction this season, if happens by 23rd March, which is 90% expected. If happens after then points deduction next season
Plus he said:
Very but trying to promote a sale apparently so get rid of the debt

Still no news on the Reading situation, the decision announcement was expected last week.

If Sheffield United ain't sold by next Friday they will go into administration too I read a report today , they've run out of cash .

There has been also teams like Wigan - Birmingham with issues this season ...

I'll be honest here and say I wouldn't wish this on any club; even the obvious one...
If it does happen (for any of them), it will be of their own making but it does football no good and takes clubs away from their communities
It is also not the way for any other team to benefit League-wise and I shudder at the thought that not all that long ago, it coukd have been us...

As much as some may not like this it is one thing we have to be grateful to tan for, we could be in a way worse position.
He's got alot wrong but has kept our club alive at least for us.
That's not saying I don't think it's time for him to sell mind because I do. If he can't take us forward anymore then hopefully a new owner can.
Hopefully I won't get slated for the post lol, but thought only fair that if everyone has a go at the negative only fair to praise the positive

I doubt you will get slatted for this.
What I cannot understand over all of this is the likes of Huddersfield and Sheffield Utd had a couple of seasons in the Premier with all its riches yet are now broke. Also I hear Burnley could be dragged into this. I just don't understand it.

The only answer other than massive mis management of money could be COVID. Maybe it had a much bigger impact than we thought on clubs and because we were ok through it didn't see it as much until now.

Thank you , Vincent Tan , from all true Cardiff City fans.
The usual suspects who are very critical of VT , be careful what you wish for !
Our last owner nearly destroyed this club, but he is still lorded by some .
UNBELIEVABLE how short some peoples memories are !

All Vincent Tan has done is reduced the costs and that is why we are fighting a relegation battle and if we survive we will most likely have another one next season.
As for your "True Cardiff City fan" quote I'm confident to say there are quite a few Anti Tan fans that would make you look 2nd best.

It could have been us, yes you are correct.
Well there are some who see Tan as the Devil in disguise it just shows his budgeting and business sense in recent times has been the right thing to do.
Yes we’re down the bottom of the table and many can’t see it but I’d prefer this then still spending millions and being in trouble like so many other clubs.

So the 'where's all the money gone from Premier League ' argument seems to be not just us.
Chris, I couldn't care two hoots of a certain club went down the pan as they've been there before and left local businesses high and dry, and to think we actually collected for them.
For any club who go down that road more than once there must be serious mismanagement .

Sheffield United are not commenting on a report this evening that claims the club is battling to stave off the threat of administration.
The Daily Mail has tonight published a report that states the Blades are facing a 12-point deduction if they enter it before next Thursday and that they have introduced a series of cost-cutting measures to avoid the sanction.
It is being claimed that undersoil heating has been turned off at their Shirecliffe training ground 'in a desperate attempt to ensure they can pay their players this month' and that suppliers have not been paid.
Sheffield United do have big financial problems and they are not going way.
The club's financial problems have been well-documented this season. Currently under a transfer embargo for failing to keep up with transfer payments, believed to be owed to Liverpool for the purchase of Rhian Brewster and Malmo for Anel Ahmedhodzic, Sheffield United are also in limbo as Dozy Mmobuosi looks to complete his takeover of the club.
That is currently with the EFL, who are yet to give it the green light.

That's the only thing I can think of and that is the "serious management" quote.
I also feel FFP is more of a hinderance for a club to survive. If a club is lucky enough to have a rich owner then they should be allowed to spend what they want as long as they pay their creditors.
