Ollie Tanner is having a tough time of it in Yorkshire, having played just 16 minutes in the last six games for the relegation strugglers York City.

Tanner who will be 21 years old next month and in nearly three months with the Non league club York City he has only played 6 matches and most of them were substitute appearances.

Tanner will return to the Bluebirds this May and is contracted to Cardiff City till June 2024.


Ollie Tanner will be training with former Tottenham star Danny Rose for the foreseeable.

The free agent left-back, is training with non-League side York City and is looking for a club.

I watched Tanner in an U21 game a while back, think it may have been Pompey. My immediate impression was that you could tell by his touch that he didn’t have that professional club grounding that others have coming through the ranks. Sadly he looked out of his depth.
