Sabri Lamouchi: “I’m happy with the performance & the attitu

SABRI LAMOUCHI:

“It’s a first draw for us with me,” started Sabri. “In the second half I liked the attitude and performance. We tried to come back at the beginning of the second half. Of course, we missed too much against a good team but one more lovely goal from [Sory] Kaba and we’re back in the game.

“I’m happy with the performance and I’m happy with the attitude. It’s an important point for us against a good team, they are playing for a different target but as you know we changed many things but as you can see, we never give up, and that is really positive.”

Striker Sory Kaba came off the bench in the second half and his substitution paid off after he headed home on 65 minutes. Sabri was full of praise for the Bluebirds front man who has netted three goals since his January arrival.

“He is right to dream [about playing his football in the UK] and he is doing absolutely everything to make that dream come true,” he added. “He scored a very important goal for us so he is doing his job.”

With the Bluebirds taking on Rotherham United this weekend ahead of the upcoming international break, Sabri was quick to state the importance of the clash and the other eight remaining games of the season.

“All of the games are important,” continued Sabri. “All nine games are really important, it’s nine cup finals so the point tonight is important and Saturday before the international break will be a really important as well.”

My View:
I disagree, very poor performance and for most of the game No fight or passion for the majority of the game , but I am happy with the point.
Albion should of beat us.

I can see why you would say that but I would say it was more of a cautious performance rather than poor or lacking passion.

We seemed very wary of being caught on the break and looked more content on keeping the ball than pushing forward with it.

To be honest most of us would have settled for a draw before the game and that’s what we got.

I was impressed with Lamouchi. He had to change shape at the back without Kipre and then, when it wasn’t working, he changed it again and we looked much better with Kaba and Etete playing together.

If we win on Saturday not only will we start to pull away from people below us but we’ll be pulling clubs like the Jacks, Rotherham and, in particular, QPR into the picture.

I think we’ll have enough to stay up now, I’d just hope we do it sooner rather than later !!
