Isaak Davies,
It just didn't work, bringing him back in the side. He was brought in to stretch the defence but scarcely did that. Had one good chance when a deflected shot fell into his path, but he could only hit the side netting. Off at the break.

Annis, he's simply not good enough. I know I'll refer to type, but how does he start when Lamouchi has clearly indicated kids cannot get us out of this mess.
To me there is still Tan interference.
Quality is the key word none of our kids (or older 'kids') or U21's show the quality needed for Championship level.
Im not saying buy success, but buy competitiveness. The latter is a far cheaper option than the former, and will be a darn sight more entertaining!

Not sure about Tan picking Isaac Davies, but far fetched that.
Anyway, he was awful, he is very unfit and half the player he was before the injury. Ten minutes in and he had his hands on hips and blowing out of his backside... Not good enough!

We are tossing around his career. He needs to get into L2 on loan next season until Christmas and see what he is about.
poor first touch, fast but is he a finisher?

To be fair he has had very little football and needs more minutes. Also we needed to play the ball in behind their full back to utilise his pace but a lot of the balls played up to him were too high giving him little chance. Ideally I would use him off the bench in the last 20 minutes when defenders are tiring!

Really wanted him to take his opportunity tonight but the truth is he added little.
He's quick but whenever he has the ball at his feet he makes a mistake.
I honestly don't think him, Harris or Colwill are food enough. They each have shown flashes of quality but not on a consistent basis.

Johnny, I believe you to be wrong on the '
Tan selects the team' thing, as the idea was wholly down to Sabri Lamouchi trying to '
mix things up' ahead of a tough game
Taking the personalities away, it simply cannot be that any '
loss' is down to Tan's '
interference' and any '
win' is in spite of it
For me, Sabri Lamouchi has looked at the squad he has at his disposal, assessed their strengths and weaknesses and picked his teams on the basis of who he thinks can '
do a job' on the day
He is a '
proper' manager and displays the actions of a man who can do exactly that; manage...

Chris, I do agree Lamouchi is the first proper and quality manager we have had for some considerable time.
Selections will always have people scratching their heads, and last night was no different. Its just an opinion that there are better options than Davies.
Personally the more outrageous the team selection or the persistent tinkering of team selection will always give rise to the possibility of interference.
Anyway, Im very happy with yesterdays point against a fast improving WBA team. Victory on Saturday, and a few results going pur way, I think will give us the impetus that will see us safe
