Next time you slag Naylor in a game

Tue Sep 28, 2010 10:16 pm

have a look where the wide midfield man is.
Burke was 20 -30 yards out of positon leaving him exposed.
You could drive a bus between the 2.

Ok so when the winger is attacking him and he is fouling him because he is skipping past that must be Burkes' fault

Naylor was left back... Burke was right wing though? I play in a side where we have wingers who don't defend and I don't moan at the winger for not tracking back. I'd like him to but it's my job to deal with the man coming at me. If I had two men passing it around me, then I'd look at the winger to help me out. Naylor hasn't been good enough the last two games and needs to improve.

The art of tackling and winning the wall has got nothing to do where the wide midfield man is , Naylor gets beaten way too easily Im sorry to say . Millwall's goal was partly his fault YET Jones drops Gyepes for his earlier mistake in the same move , Blake looked lost in defence last nite so the sooner Riggot is fit the better .

And Jones please get a reserve team so the likes of Olli , Koumas and Keogh can get match fit !

Being positive we are still 2nd in the league :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Ok so why did Sousa say you've always got a chance against Cardiff because they leave huge gaps out on the flanks.
part of a wingers job these days is to defend,

When you’ve got the opposition full back backing up there wide man ,I would have thought its obvious or wide man needs to help out with the defending.
