I think it's only a one match ban, that's all the Newcastle keeper had for handling the ball outside the penalty area. Pretty sure Allsop is OK for WBA

That's how it was reported in the first instance Wez; but absolutely nothing from the club or in the media since...

It's an odd one and was more professional foul than violent conduct, so one match seems logical...

I guess we'll find out before Saturday's game versus The Baggies...

Pope served a 1 match ban and it was the same offence as Allsop, so how could it be 3?

The FA and/or FAW make no current mention of Ryan Allsop's 'suspension' and nor do other Championship club-related platforms

The FA web-site doesn't mention Cardiff City FC as a club in their current 'suspension' lists...

Without confirmation, this apoears to show that Ryan Allsop will be available for the Baggies game and Jak Alnwick for the following game...

If this is the case, as originally reported, that (with no offence to young Luthra) will be a mighty relief...

WOL have today reported that Allsop will be available on Wednesday in their match report but I recollect reading somewhere it was a 3 match ban, I hope their right it's only one, as Luthra's nerves maybe shredded after conceding withing minutes on his debut, not that I'm blaming him for that.

Tbh I had previously looked up the EFL site and read it as a 1 match ban.
But a lot of experts on here were saying 3 for Alnwick

The problem is people not finding out the facts and making assumptions. To be fair, they even had me doubting both Ryan Allsop and Jak Alnwick's a one-match ban after I'd read it on one of the official web-sites...
