' The relegation picture '

Let's just say it's looking a lot more rosy for Cardiff, even though they are still very much down at the wrong end of the table.

The Bluebirds have created a six-point buffer between themselves and the bottom three of Blackpool, Wigan and Huddersfield. Just a couple of weeks or so back, the gap was negligible - and those teams each had games in hand.

It looked ominous. The Bluebirds could so easily have been rock bottom, with an entirely different mentality. Suddenly a crucial gap has appeared and Cardiff have also closed in on teams above like QPR. Birmingham, and even Swansea City, Stoke and Reading, sides Lamouchi will be eyeing as he looks to climb the table.

But first things first. There are massive games coming up away to Rotherham and Blackpool, which Cardiff cannot afford to lose, otherwise the pressure comes back on.

Their last home game is against Neil Warnock's Huddersfield, which many have viewed as a likely relegation six-pointer.

Interestingly enough, if Reading have their 6 point deduction they go below us on goal difference, however the team in a real mess is QPR, they are sinking like a stone and that is remarkable given they were up in the top six earlier in the season.

If we carry on in the same mode as recent then 16th/17th position is a very real target :bluebird:

Huddersfield and Wigan both play others tonight so hopefully they both get beat so we all played 35 games then and remain 6 points clear of Blackpool :bluescarf:

We have to get to at least 50 points. The job is far from done and we are still in a lot of danger. Tonight will be interesting. I expect Huddersfield to win against Bristol who have a number of injuries but my eye is more on Wigan. I think they may be the bigger threat. If Reading are deducted points this week, I think they are in real trouble top. They look like a team completely out of sorts and can easily get dragged down.

Our destiny is very much in our own hands, we need not waste any time/energy watching others. Amateurs compete with others professionals compete with their selves. We have what seems as manager with a good tactical brain and for that I am grateful. :Onward and upwards. :bluebird: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

QPR, Birmingham and Swansea have got themselves in a far worse rut than what we were in. They could quite easily be drawn into the fight.

As for us we are far from out of it. Yes we have a manager who is making us play a style that suites our squad and is using different players to do it, prime example is Sawyers. Lets not get too carried away though because this "new" team will have a bad day here or there. Its going to the wire this one.

Far from over this dogfight.
But definitely looking more positive than 3 weeks previous
I will not be surprised if a team currently above us actually goes down.

I believe we are going to win most of the games remaining, and I’m starting to think sabri is a magician
