What do you hate about modern day football?

There must be a million things wrong in everyone's eyes so what gets on everyones tits these days?

I hate that every almost everything is now deemed bookable when a dirty game used to consist of 2 yellow cards.

I hate that the teams come out together, stand on the halfway line, then shake hands. I loved the roar that went up when your lads came steaming onto the park ready for a right old tear up, especially big cup games and the like. Too happy clappy these days.

Players diving round and going down like they have been shot after the faintest of touches really winds me up!

All-Seater Stadiums and high ticket prices(in the UK) and
Ultras (in Germany)

Ultras even made me stop going to games, pathetic lil pr1cks with big mouths, no balls and an attitude problem...

Arrogant, disrespectful players who think they are above everyone else. Like Jays antics tonight when the ref told him to stop walking away. Players do anything, fiddle with their socks etc. to avoid looking a ref in the eye when they are being spoken to. Hate this lack of respect for an essential part of the game.

Fair play, you're a cock. I pay my money just like you. So why shouldn't I be allowed to watch City? Or does a pair of balls give you more entitlement to watch football? Do you feel that watching football is a test of your masculinity or something and tht its being questioned by the fact more and more women watch football too?


Anyway, what I hate about football is how fickle fans are. 2nd in the legue and 4 points from two games and our home crowd booed. Pathetic. I know we played poor but we didn't lose. Wannabe hooligans annoy me too. People wearing stone island etc who go to football purely to get into a fight.

Apart from the ridiculous wages , certain players being as soft as shite and the refs for forgetting what tackling is all about then I quite like modern day football . Plus modern day football is the only time Ive ever seen Cardiff top of this division and not bottom of the 4th !!!!

refs booking players for taking there shirts off while celebrating to think u could ge sent off for two offences like that is crazy

TV schedules and corporate business taking over the people's game
Defenders who obstruct the attacker from stopping the ball going out for a goal kick but still get the decision
Players whose team is playing in dark socks who wear white socks over the dark ones
Arrogant players
Teenage players who, instead of doing what apprentices did a few years ago, now drive round in £30,000 flash cars and huge, expensive watches and who treat the fans like wankers
Too much money
You can't just roll up at a ground and pay cash on the gate
Too many people who shouldn't be allowed within 100 miles of a football ground trying to get rich and taking too much money from the game

im sorry, i wrote that last night when i came in from the game,, i should have wrote a futher piece,,,,,,, i dont have a problem with women going down the city,,,,, the women i dislike, are the ones that turn round at you like your a thug, when someone swears, or the girls are there because they have to be,, like being pretty on there boyfriends arm etc,
