There’s a train strike as well that day no trains so that should effect the crowd

It could be sorted by then and other modes of transport available, so plenty of time to plan ahead for those who don't need an excuse not to attend

Exactly if it were a premier league game the excuses about transport and ticket prices evaporate.on the plus side the crowd will be 25000 a crowd the JBs couldn't even dream about.

Has a look at the dippers forum and they are saying we on the up and they are falling, they're not looking forward to it at all. Come SL and SB, get us up for this and after today, I really think we will

Soo looking forward to this game now , sabri getting the very best of these players now , what a awsome manager , he’s gonna save us
Sat Mar 04, 2023 10:44 pm
I think we can beat them.

Hoping the train strikes are resolved by then, although unlikely.
Otherwise will be difficult for me to get to the game from here as I don't drive.

Ned, from whete you are, I think it's more than reasonable to say you'd have real issues getting here; but hope you do...

It probably won't be sorted, as they can’t agree on anything. The rail strikes have been a nightmare for us down here in Port Talbot this season. We like to come up on the train for Saturday games and we come by car midweek games

Fully appreciate that; but my point remains there is plenty of time to sort alternatuves out at this advanced stage. You already mentioned you 'car share' as one option but I wouldn't advise jumping on any buses travelking via Swansea Central...

Firstly, that was last night and not last week as you said.
Secondly, this relates to the RMT union strike for members at Network Rail on 16th March. RMT members who work for train companies are still set to strike on 16th, 18th and 30th March as well as on April 1st - when our game against Swansea is.
So there will still be disruption, although not on the same scale as was anticipated due to the RMT workers at Network Rail suspending their strike.
Those travelling using Transport For Wales trains on 1st April won't be effected as that train company isn't one of the 14 train companies striking on these dates.
However, for those of us who also need to use other train companies on these dates will be effected as their strike is still due to go ahead at the point. It is unclear at this point how significant this strike action will be now that RMT members at Network Rail are not going ahead with their strikes. The size of disruption is likely to vary by operator.
